I'm sorry, but wearing one's underwear for more than one day at a time is only acceptable if one is camping or backpacking. Camping is definitely an occasion when one needs all the underwear possible! There are no washing facilities and there are opportunities for walking about in only your underwear and being seen by fellow campers.

Look, get the priorites right here, ...ditch the non-essential stuff like food and tents if need be.
Commandeer a caravan of camels, a whole pack of alpacas, a tribe of native bearers or a herd of sherpas if necessary to carry a damned good supply of underwear. You never know just what styles you might need, so better to have a good choice.
For instance, just what style is necessitated when being persued by a bear? (You decide which type of "bear" I mean!)

I have done a lot of travelling and my Mum always said to me "You can never take too many socks or undies", and I have always found this to be sound advice.
I live in a very warm climate here and I find two pairs of briefs a day to be essential to feel fresh and comfortable. One to go off to work in and a clean pair for the evening's activities. Sure you go through a lot of underwear, (an even better excuse to go out and buy more!)....but when you own as many pairs as we underwear lovers do, how else are you going to get through wearing and trying them all?
