Ok, the upgrade went well!

Graphic Layout

Unfortunately, the style that I created wouldn't work with the new look of the boards, so until I get some time, you'll have to put up with the board being kinda ugly.

The good news is it's got a great templating system, so I'll be able to creat multiple looks for the boards, and you'll be able to choose the one you like the most.

Profiles

There some enhancements to the profiles. There are now new fields to fill out in the profiles. I've made the Country field mandatory for new members, but the state/province and city fields are optional. All these fields are now searchable. Just choose "member list" from the top menu, and choose the advance search.

The previous field where you got to choose the style of undergear was lost in the upgrade as I've now made it possible to select the styles using radio buttons in your profiles.

I will be adding to the profiling system and if you have suggestions for other fields, I want to know.

You can now include a 100x100 profile picture to go along with your profile (this is not the same as your icon for you posts)

There's a lot more, but you'll just have to take the time to explore around. Also, don't forget to check out the help system.

Please take some time to redo your profiles - a lot has changed!.

As before, most of the fields are optional, but keep in mind, that the more you fill out, the better the system works.

Posting

There's a great new posting editor that makes formating your text easier.

And now the best part - you can now include multiple attachments (pictures) in each message. I've set the limit to 5 per message.

You can also manage your images conveniently in your profile.

Also

Please be patient, as there are so many enhancments in the administration part of the software and it's going to take me time to figure it all out.

If you have suggestions, I'm all ears!

Thanks, but it's driving me crazy as they forums are REALLY ugly right now.

I do want to say that Jelsoft (the company that made the software) has done an amazing job with the upgrade - for such a complicated script, the process to upgrade was complete easy with a great interface and instruction manual. Most manuals for software suck.

Oh yeah - There are bound to be bugs, so please use either this forum or the suggestions forum to report them to me.

Hi John,

I like the feature where you click on the posters name and you get a drop down to see the posters profile or send a PM and etc..

Thanks for your hard work... ;)

The Private Messaging is much better also - it organizes the messages by each day. Also, you can click the "currently active users" link at the bottom of the main page to find out what everyone is doing...i.e. private messaging, reading forum, posting pic, etc..

You really have to explore around, there's lots of subtle buy good changes.

The Members list menu is good also.

As I find the cool new features, I'll let you know. You guys can do the same, as I'm sure I won't find them all.
