Hey Guys

Here is one that is baffling me. I bought a brand new blue speedo the other day. . . .I am a 34 waist in trousers, yet to get the speedo to fit the way I wanted. . . I had to buy a 38 inch waist. The fit I wanted was low on the hips, and marginally loose upfront. Now whats baffling me is, have I gotten fatter, or have Speedo changed their sizing?

Not to worry. Speedo has always been cut a size smaller, at least here in the USA. That is why I used to buy a size up to fit me (i.e., I'm a size 30-31, so I buy a 34). I haven't bought a new Speedo in years, since I've changed to HOM for my swimwear which is cut to true size. Hope that helps.

Good, thanks for that, I do have other brands, but I thought I would go back to SPEEDO, and see. I'll let you know how they compare to my old, adn well loved speedos!

I'm no expert on Speedos, as I don't wear them, but have you considered the AussieBum brand - they're designed to be low on the hips and loose in the front. Just check their amazing site at AussieBum.com, click the "range" button and then select the two "loose" styles they carry.

You can get them at a variety of places on the net.
