Yes, these are made right here in Auckland, NZ. As far as I know you can only buy them in selected stores here, not online as yet - but I may be wrong. The name I guess comes from the maori patterns on the waistband, which are similar to the maori face tattoos or 'moko' - hence "Ink(e)d". They are beautifully made - not cheap though

Actually, the site you listed above has an online shop and they do ship Internationally! :)

Hi Bob from Studwear.com here we have approached this company to stock the brand in the UK. They are keen to do so in Feb 2005. Will keep you posted.
