I upgraded the message board software yesterday and although there is a huge list of bug fixes, it seems that it has messed up the way new post. That is to say, it doesn't remove the new post icon when you've checked out the post. It's only minor, but it's driving me crazy. Hopefully Jelsoft will come up with a fix soon enough.

I'm happy/overjoyed/exstatic about the success of the new user galleries. It will definitely eat up a lot more bandwidth and up my costs of running the board though, so I hope no one minds too much, but i'm going to add a few banners to the right hand column of the galleries to try to recoup some of the costs. Don't worry though, I"ll try not to make them too obvious/obnoxious and they'll be easy enough to ignore. As most of you know, I won't let the sites to become overly commercial - I hate banners and popups as much as the rest of you.

Can you set up a system that would enable members (and non-members who are fans of the boards) to donate cash? I couldn't afford loads, but if we all gave something it might make a difference. Personally no problem at all with some banners if it helps.

The ONLY criticism I have of these boards is the bug that shows posts as new when you have read them. Drives me a bit nuts too sometimes, but hey, I can live with that :) It's insignificant in return for all the delights contained within this website.

A huge big THANKS, as always, for all your hard work, time, energy and humour :D

The message board software developers are aware of the bug, so I imagine it'll be dealt with soon. The bug went away for me after the last major upgrade, but it came back with the upgrade I did last week.

Donations are a bit hard. Paypal would be the logical choice, but they have a no adult sites policy. Other than that, you would have to get a merchant account with a processor like IBill, CCBill and they have huge setup costs which would then defeat the purpose.

If the users of the board would consider using the links on the sites here when purhcasing from InternationalJock, Be-Brief, Solis Style, Undergear, OBoy, Kleptomaniac, Erogenos and Moda Audaci then cost to run the sites/boards wouldn't be an issue. As it stands right now, they're breaking even and there's even a bit extra which has allowed me to buy photosets for un-der-wear.com and the new software for the new user galleries. The new Galleries will undoubtably eat up a bit more bandwidth, but i'm not too worried.

I'm also toying with the idea of 1. setting up my own retail shop to sell undergear and 2. designing my own small line of underwear. It's too early to say much more right now, but I'm excited about it.

And SO am I!!!
Underwear that's designed by a guy with an underwear fetish! At last!
Just what we've all been dreaming about.
Far too much of men's underwear today seems to be designed by women(?), ....and therefore lacks knowledge of the male anatomy's function and comfort, but underwear designed by deuSex?
Well now, personally I'd LOVE walking around with a permanent hard-on!
Bring it ON!

Paypal doesn't HAVE to know the donation is for an adult site, do they? :)

The problem is when they decide to close an account, they wipe the account any any funds that may be in it.

If the bandwidth/site costs get out of hand, i'll address it then, until now, all's fine and dandy. :)
