This is the place for new registered users to introduce themselves, tell us what their interests are (undergear, swimwear or otherwise), and any other info they want to divulge. You can post photos (only of yourselves), but try to keep most photo posts to the "Show and Tell" forums.

I've restricted posting of new threads to registered users only for this forum. Everyone can view and respond to posts though.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again -

Registration is free. Your privacy is completely respected. I don't share your email or info with anyone and you can set in your profile/preferences whether anyone else can private message or email you.

Hi there

does anyone maybe know if and where I could get my hands on videos or DVD's featuring guys in underwear and I am not talking about the boxer type, but skimpy, tight, seethru bikini, wet speedos etc... underwear is my 4play and I would love to see videos where the underwear is an accessory to sex and not something that gets whipped off in the first five seconds. i did see a couple of videos advertised on the site but if one can judge from the cover, they didn't do much for me.

anyway any help greatly appreciated

Briefs30 and I spoke once about "Packed pough videos" here. I cann't remember in what thread. Google under "packed pough videos". I hope my recollection is correct. Otherwise you find it under "shortslover webring". Once again I hope my recollection is correct. I have never seen one of their DVD's, but will, since Briefs30 said me you can see them online from Europe . I don't know wheter those are the DVD's you search for.

As you point out, registration is free, and no privacy is breached. Given that, I am not sure why someone should be allowed to post messages or photos at all if they are not prepared to go through the simple process of filling in a form and making up a name for themselves.

Advantages:
1) It would discourage flaming (I have not seen any really bad examples of this here but it COULD happen - it occurs regularly on other sites that allow anonymous postings).
2) It's nice to know when 2 postings are by the same person.
3) Registering is not that hard, but it takes a few minutes, so someone who takes the trouble to register is more likely to have a real interest in the topic, rather than joining out of boredom.

Disadvantage (possibly):
You might get slightly fewer messsages this way... but there seem to be plenty of postings, I think the group already has critical mass.

The analogy I would make, if I were a moderator, is that of opening my home to strangers. I might invite someone in whom I didn't know, in the hope of getting to know them, but I would like them to at least introduce themselves.

SweatyAussie,

I do agree with all your comments, but I've always maintained a policy that until things got out of hand, I wouldn't change things.

Fact is many people are just super paranoid about the Internet, privacy, spy ware, viruses etc. New users think you can get viruses (not spyware, but computer disabling viruses) from simply visiting a website. Many also believe that by registering on a site, that somehow that site could obtain their credit cards, addresses, and other private things.

I can tell people, here and through personal emails, that I run an honest site that's interested only in created a community of like-minded people, but they really don't know me and have no reason to trust me. I think most registered users that end up spending time here participating in the conversations do end up registering - they just get so much more out of the site that way like the ability to post photos, start polls, have a profile, user gallery, comment on the user galleries, and just be acknowledged as part of our community.

Like I said, I have no problem restricting posting to registered users, but I'd rather wait until it's necessary.

Well, In case you didn't see the notices around the board, things did get out of hand, and unregistered users can only view messages. Certainly going to save me a lot of work and hassle.

Hello,
I am new here. I tried starting a new thread in general undies discussion but for some reason my message never appeared. Let's see if this one gets through...

mtr79,

Unfortunately, due to spammers getting through the registration system, I've had to implement a system where new members' first posts are moderated until I can determine that the member is a real person and not a bot. Once I've seen the first post, I move you to an unrestricted usergroup.

I have now done that and both this post and your initial one is now live. Anything you post from here on in will go live right away.

kind regards,

Hey Guys! New here! Looking for a mature forum about underwear. In university, I used to wear CK pro stretch boxer briefs. One day I decided to try a ck hip brief. I haven't turned back since, I am now a converted brief man (as my user id states). I love them, so comfy and great look.

Just joined, having visited and read for a while as a guest. Love men in underwear and happy to chat about that (and other subjects). Oh yes, live in the UK, happily partnered and ride a motorbike (I guess the user name gives it away).
