Always been a water boy, and have been at a few European/Mediterranean/Asian/Latin beaches over the years, and find that, as generally believed, non-American guys are generally more liberal and less repressed in expressing themselves at the beaches.
When I vacationed in Santorini and Mykonos a year ago, the Norwegians, Greeks, and English lads were mostly wearing skimpy bikinis in bright colors, or a few were even more daring in barely there swim thongs. Everyone seemed to be having fun without being self-conscious about their bodies (and a lot of them were really hot in those tight little things! Something to be said about natural confidence). Contrast that to the average American where flappy, baggy surf shorts continue to be the norm around the water. American bodies are of course equally hot, but attitudes are still sadly conservative.
Question is: does anyone know where in the U.S. one can find cute, sexy guys in the briefest of swimwear, strings, or thongs (yikes--even South Beach isn't that daring anymore). Just curious where the local ogling spots are these days.
