Co-worker's underwear

Last night I went out with some people I work with. After a night of drinking, one of the guys needed to stay on my couch. When we got to my place he said he wanted to go to sleep. I went and got him a pillow and a blanket. When I came back in he had strippped to his underwear. I assumed he wore boxers, but he was wearing navy blue briefs. I was shocked. This morning he asked if he could borrow some clothes. When he opened my underwear drawer he said he was surprised to find that I wear briefs too. He borrowed my maroon pair of Hanes briefs and took a shower. After he left, I found the navy blue pair of his in the bathroom on the floor. The were Jockey brand.

Just an update. He brought my maroon Hanes briefs back this morning (yes, they were clean). Then we started talking about underwear. He said he has worn briefs all his life and never followed the trend to boxers. He wears colored Jockey, CK, Polo, and FTL, no white. He lifted his shirt and showed me that today he was wearing grey FTL's. He noticed I was wearing white briefs when I sat down, apparently my umbros gave him front row seat to see my briefs. He asked about my underwear and I told him I just started to wear briefs again and that I threw all of my boxers and boxerbriefs out.

Did you return the co-worker's briefs or did you keep them??

I kept them. He didn't ask for them and I didn't think about it. I did my laundry last night and I wore them today! I wanted to see how Jockey fit compared to Hanes, which is the only brand I own. I like the thinner cotton and the low rise fit. I also like that the waistband is the same color as the briefs. I do prefer Hanes over the Jockey. I'll hang onto the Jockey to wear now and then.
