What type of fly do you prefer?

Horizontal does it for me. Easy to access for either left or right handed.

Definitely my preference is "horizontal", but I'm quite fond of the "diagonal" too at times, .....just as long as there IS a fly, and it's a FUNCTIONAL one.
Some of 'em are SO small and difficult that you couldn't manoevre a double-jointed snake out of them, ...let alone a rapidly stiffening ..........! :cool:

yup horizontal does it for me as well because you can just reach down and whip the old fella out when needed, none of that fiddling round the sides or front.

Who uses a "fly?" I don't because at the "pissing station" I undo my pants, zipper & belt and pull down for a "relieving stream." However, I must stand with my legs wide apart because my keys and cell phone that are attached to my belt will pull my pants down to the floor if I am not careful. Oh, the problems that men have in the restroom.

I wear thongs, so flys don't matter much at all...just slide the pouch to the side for access...
