Country Search?

First of all I have to say "WoW .. What a great site!" ... I have already uploaded quite a few photo's of myself in (and "Ooops!) poking out of my Horny, Kinky Male Underwear and was amazed at the number of hits in such a short period of time.

As this is the "Suggestions" thread of the forum I wondered if it would be more appropriate to use a "Dropdown Choose Box" when completing the profile for the "Location" or "Country" as this would facilitate a very accurate search function. At the moment I notice that it is a "Free Text Box" and in my case I entered "Nederland" but others have also entered "Holland", "Netherlands" etc.

Anyway, Great site! ... and thanks for all the very hard work that must go on behind the scenes.

Your suggestion is great. I'll have to look a see if it's a hack into vbulletin's software I could do without ruining the code for future upgrades.

Do you have a list of every country in the world by chance? ;)

The other problem would be changing the countries of the 1600 registered users. not sure how that would work. I could reduce that by pruning inactive members for the last year. I do that periodically if someone hasn't logged into the site for a year. But it would still be an awful lot of work.

The problem is that vbulletin wasn't written as a gay underwear bulletin-posting-dating board. It's written for as a multi-purpose board for all sorts of uses.
