Hope I'm not offending anyone by drawing attention to this, but I hope you can see just how ridiculous some of the religious radicals can be -
Apparently It's in the bible that we should all be wearing Boxers -

At first I thought he wasn't serious too. But the way some people cite the Bible for everything, and his tone say he is. I'm bisex-not included in the Bible, but I'm convinced God loves me too. So do a lot of us non-standard Christians. Christ freed people from the law. Enjoy!
BTW, I prefer boxers myself, but like seeing guys in other sexy underwear.

It only says the priests have to wear boxers. This guy is messed up. This is Old Testament stuff. There were many crazy laws due to the living conditions and culture. They weren't allowed to eat pork either. He is taking things out of context. If you read some of his other statements, you know he is out there.

There's nothing wrong with God! He's a decent caring guy/gal.
It's the dickheads who "interpret" ancient texts to suit their own silly agendas.
If I listen to those shites, I'm evil and underserving of redemption - 'scuze my French but F***ING BOLLOCKS
I love God and he loves me. I don't give a toss about gobshites who think they can tell me what to do with my dick!

Which god? Where?
The ones I tend to deal with all wear WHITE BRIEFS!
I tend to spend a lot of time on my knees in front of them worshipping, so I should know!
However, I would have thought the poor guys in old testament times wouldn't have had much choice.
I'm pretty sure Calvin Klein hadn't opened it's Israelite Store in 500 BC.
AND just remember, a very famous christmas carol tells us EXACTLY what was worn as underwear in biblical times.
Didn't you all sing "While sheperds washed their JOCKS by night" when you were in school?
How could you forget? :hump :D
An interesting FACT about ancient times....related ....sort of.
When Tutankamun's tomb was opened and catalogued, he was found to have over 300 pairs of underwear.
Now this was a guy after our own hearts, eh? (I still beat him though!)
They were mostly of what we would call "thong" design, but also quite a few white briefs too, AND PLEASE NOTE, ....not a bloody pair of jokey boxers in sight!

And what I don't understand is why, if he created us naked and intended us to be naked (until that durn snake came along) is He telling the priests to wear anything at all?
I don't practice any religion at the moment (i.e., attend church) and I'm not sure where I stand on the existence of God, but I was brought up that way. What primarily stopped me from going was two-fold: 1) The constant "interest" in the church members in helping me find a woman; 2) The turn towards zealousness in the church. As I recall, Christ rebuked the zealots.
What I did get out of it, and I believe in to this day, is there is a right way to treat our fellow human beings. And there are too many "in the church" that don't really practice that very well at all.

I'm not a Christian or even a believer any more, but I think Pastor Brian forgets that in the third chapter or two of Genesis, when Adam and Eve are driven out of the Garden of Eden, the very first underwear was a fig leaf.

when Adam and Eve are driven out of the Garden of Eden, the very first underwear was a fig leaf.
Hmmm, that's a hard one, ...as Eve said to Adam when she first set eyes on him!
Considering that those fig-leaves weren't actually worn UNDER anything else, would they even qualify as "UNDERWEAR"?
Perhaps those leaves were "outerwear" and Adam became the first free-baller!
Serves him right! Anyone who doesn't wear underwear is missing out on one of life's greatest turn-ons, ....but what else could you expect from someone who, having realised he was naked, could not find any nice white brief shops in Yarweh's backyard!
Now God may have been a great gardener, but he sure as hell was a lousy developer!
I bet those fig-leaves were damn prickly on poor old Adam's tender bits too!
It's a wonder the rest of us were even "begat"!!!
Just for those of you who take an interest in art, I'm attaching a pic of an amazing discovery on the Sistine Chapel ceiling, after the recent cleaning. :hump

Guys I hate to break it to you but you have been had! This website is a spoof, a satire on the horrific Destiny Church here in NZ. Hence the name of this site "Density Church". The real 'pastor' is Brian Tamaki (a homophobic neo-nazi if ever there was one) - so on the site they pretend he is called brian Tamariki (the maori word for children).
HAHAHAHA it is a superbly hilarious site, specially topical for us Kiwis with all the publicity the real Destiny 'Church' has had recently. I can't stop laughing!! Check out the hysterical boxer briefs http://www.densitychurch.org/densityproducts.html
By the way, the KJV translation of Exodus 28:49 uses the word "breeches" and the New English Bible says "drawers"....I would hardly translate either as 'boxer briefs'.
This has brought me the best giggles i have had for ages. Sucked in, boys!!!! hehehehehehehhe

Just when I began to think God was my sort of guy . . .
(With apologies to Bondsman, whose sense of humor I adore, I prefer boxers, with boxer-briefs as second choice) :moon
Thanks to Johs for the site, and reminding us of what irony means.

Wow, never known Rauma to get so worked up and emotional over something!
I visited this link, but saw nothing about the Bible - which probably means that they have changed the content since this thread was started.
What I DID get was another of those fucking unsolicited popup windows, complete with a fake Close Window button underneath the real one, clearly designed to make you unwittingly click on a link. Won't be visiting that site again.
Here in Oz "dense" is a slang term for stupid. Might be appropriate, that seems to be the audience that site is aiming at.
