When do you throw your underwear away?

i have just thrown away 6 pairs simply becouse im board with them but hay ive just bought 6 new pairs some i have never worn

Why throw them away if they hold a few memories ;) as long as they stay up wear 'em.

Although having said that, every 'n' years I go mad and sling out all the stuff that either falls down or I can't get into any more :)

You'd think that being a underwear retailer my underwear drawer would be an alladins cave of the finest underwear!!!!!

Sadly not, i keep meaning to take some out of stock for myself but i keep putting it off as it means 1 less for a customer to buy :D

Luckily though i've just had a sort out of the damaged stock and kept some for myself (no major damage, maybe a small mark on them from the manufacturing process or a small pull in the thread). So i've chucked out some old pairs that i've had for about 5 years (all HOM) and replaced with them new ones (again all HOM) , best of the bunch that I took was the HOM sports micro II in grenadine and white and HOM new sports maxi in mango - im just a sucker for bright coloured underwear :D

My response was "When it doesn't fit" but I could have equally answered "when it shows the first sign of wearing out", because for me that is usually the first sign.
Since I like my undies to be brief and tight, they always have a certain amount of elasticity. After some time and many washings, when they no longer have enough zing, they fail to support my nuts properly, or else they just cease to look and feel sexy. That's when they get tossed.

I throw away only the underwear that I use for my "fetish" play when I don't want to wash it

I would usally throw them out (or put in rag bag after cutting the waistband off) when the elastic wears out. In the case below (Jockey horizontal pouch), the pouch is tearing, sad to say its off to the rag bag.

I found a use for old underwear. When a pair gets to the point I don't want to wear it anymore because of bad elastic or holes in inconvenient places, etc., I put it aside until I go on a trip. I take my old underwear, wear it for the last time, and then toss it. No (or less) dirty underwear to cart back home or wash on the trip. I do the same for socks, and occasionally other clothing or even shoes. Coming home with less luggage than you started with is great. I've left my bikini underwear, the only kind I wear, all over Europe and North and Central America.

Certainly an very economic measure you have adopted bostonspdo, ...however it does seem that it would find you on holidays wearing your most daggiest underwear when you meet anyone.
When I travel I always wear, and take my very best and showiest, as I often meet other underwear fans who comment, and I also frequently swap underwear (new), while travelling with other afficionados.
I even carry extra unopened briefs for just this purpose. It's amazing how many guys I have met this way, and struck up conversations, been given invites to private parties/bar nights/dinners etc. that I would otherwise not have known about. It has also increased my own collection vastly.
Now while I don't doubt there may indeed be a great demand for your old, worn discarded underwear, (we have plenty of guys here that love that sort of thing), I too have left a trail of underwear aross Europe and America, but they have actually been new ones.
As for the topic here, I have a pet aversion to any underwear that has lost it's "spring" so to speak, ....and especially when it no longer sits under your butt cheeks and tends to creep up over your butt during wear. It goes straight in a large bag, which I will sometimes wear if I'm doing something extremely messy, but more likely I use as soft rags when ever I need to polish or wipe anything. If the bundle gets too large, which often happens, I just junk it.
ALTHOUGH, (and this is an excellent hint for those of you who have bothered to read this far!).......of late I have discovered a pretty damn good use for it.
Dearest Boyf. sometimes likes to indulge in sexual fantasies where he rips my clothing/underwear in a frenzied session to get to his objective :hump , so the old stuff certainly comes in handy and gets a good re-cycle, ....AND it saves those very expensive pairs from collateral damage! :D ;)
Try it, ....certainly livens up the encounter!

I don't bring only old underwear. There's always a good pair in reserve. Also, I confess that I don't particularly pursue sex when I travel.

I guess I'm a pack rat I cant let them go. I mean if they are worn out then yeah they have to go but usually when i notice them starting to get a pit tattered I will put them into reserve and only wear them occasionally trying to prolong their life. If they once belonged to someone else I refuse to get rid of them. I also have a huge boxer collection and alot of boxer briefs I haven't worn in atlest 5 years I cant seem to part with. I often think of finding them new homes buy selling or trading them maybe then I could part with some of them. When I lost interest in my tighty whities years ago I gave them to charity. It was hot to think of someone else buying them and wearing them.

Hell when they are just about worn out, that when most underwear are very comfortable, you know you hardly realize you have em' on....I still have a few pair like that, wish I could buy them in that condition, I hate new underwear...
