Hi, my nom de speedo is Fliegles, which is a play on my real last name and allows a shy - but hardly shrinking violet - have some fun. First thanks to John and four members who have been most kind and generous in moving me about the site. I came in through the backdoor, so to speak. I met .Steve on another site and suggested that I might like USG-Online. I certainly do.
In the past, I have tried corresponding various other sites. The responses have ranged from disdainful to downright nasty. This alone will make you chary of contributing or adding to a discussion.
To the point. I have been turned on by guys in tight brief swimwear since I was a pre-teen (the 1950's) back then they were called tank suits and were not brief by todays standards, but the high school seniors and college guys (my sisters were eight and ten years older than me) could really horn up a budding gay guy! I worked in a drugstore during my teen years and was assigned the task of keeping the magazine racks straight. Ugh!! except for the movie magazines. The articles were god-awful but the shots of the men, called beef-cake back then, were great. Does anyone have a stash of pictures of hollywood hunks of the "golden era" and can they post same? Does anyone know of other sites which might post same? Let me know.
Finally came the '70's speedos and residence in a large Washington, D.C. apartment house with an olympic sized swimming pool and lots of ambassadorial families in residence! I was in speedo-heaven for the next twenty years!! Then came the era of sartorial correctness and the "men's clothing police" all uptight ladies (I use the term loosely) who dictated that hairy chested men in well packed speedos were socially unacceptable unless they were on a swimming team. At the same time, it was deemed perfectly all right for overage or overweight women with leathery skin and peroxided hair and sagging bossums and buttocks to appear in public in strings and mallots! So here I am guys!! Bulge up those baskets and pop the goodies into view if you like. I'm ready and glad to comment!
Oh ya, I have one other interest, not quite related to underwear or swimtrunks. It is a rather transparent way of covering up but John asked me to discuss under the "General/other" catagory. I invite you to look there.
