the size seems ok to me, and the effect is obvious. The only advise that i still can give you is when you are shaved you don't have the problem of hairs getting stuck in the rings: it would be much more comfortable. Of course this is a personal matter.....

This is how I figured out what size to use for my cockrings: I got an adjustable metal ring in the hardware store and tried several positions. Of course the screw is cumbersome and wearing it is nothing like the real thing, but the goal is just to figure out if you can get it on and off easily enough.

I've got to agree with most here, the best feeling is the heavy steel cock ring. It pulls gently on your balls and can't be beat!
I generally use the leather snap on ring, when I've got a hard on already and there's no way the steel or even the rubber ring will go.

On BAF's advice on 'installation', I''ve been putting my balls through one at a time, then bending a rather limp cock into it - a bit of water or baby oil works. The worst part is most of the time I've started to get a hard on before my cock is through - so I try to wait it out - sometimes I've just got to give up in favor of the leather one.
I think I'll give BAF's advice a try and see how that goes.

BAF's method works great for me. Actually, I have not been able to get a cockring on any other way!

Heres my advice on the subject.

You can get into a cock ring either way shaft first or nuts first however I find it much easier to put your nuts thru first then work your shaft thru before you get hard of course no matter which way you go first.

Sizing is always a problem at first I reccomend starting with rubber that way you can get an idea of what size you like and still be safe when you are ready to move to metal you'll have a good idea of what size you need you can find cheap metal ones in porn shops around 3 bucks experiment with them to find a size thats best for you then you can get something of better quality theres also a math formula around but it involves measuring using string and that doesn't seem so accurate so dont even bother

There's always a question of how long you can wear one I wear mine all day with no problems the problem is how long you can wear one while erect if you experience any long period of discomfort stop and relax let it go down and remove the ring I've never had a problem staying hard in mine for hours I have experienced a little discomfort from time to time but never enough to have to stop

Interesting coincidence, I just posted a message on this subject in my other favourite forum, the one devoted to jeans.

Here is what I said there:

I have several cock rings but have not worn one for years, not even briefly.

Two are just the stretchy rubber rings - one is slightly larger than the other. The third is of the leather strap variety, with fastening studs. The main strap goes around the root of the dick and behind the balls, and two straps cross over between the nuts and separate them before fastening to the main strap.

I imagine I got them for the same reason as many guys - curiosity. Certainly I found that if I already had a hard erection it kept it hard - made it harder even - and a few times I wore them when wanking, and a couple of times when having sex with another guy. But I never had the desire to wer them on an all-day basis, and certainly not to make my equipment look bigger than it is.

One thing that bothers me about those is I don't know how I would go if I needed to take it off in a hurry, for example because it started to hurt or because I wanted to aviud someone seeing it. The leather ones come undone instantly... the rubber ones stretch, or if you needed to you could just cut it with scissors... but with the metal ones I would want to take my time and be careful getting out of them.
