View Full Version : "No thumbnail"

One of the pics in my gallery is entitled "black PVC G-string". I seem to remember that I accidentally posted this one twice, and had to delete one of them.
Now, however, when I view my own gallery, I see a box "No thumbnail" where the thumbnail should be. When I click on the thumbnail, I don't get the image, I just get a box with the image title.
What's going on here? Is this a site bug, or something I am doing wrong? Should I delete the image and repost it?

Something it's gets buggered up when deleting images. I have a utility in the admin section i can run to fix missing thumbs and such. I avoid it as much as possible only because with 14000 photos, it's quite time consuming.
I'll run it tomorrow (i've been sick the past few days and i'm worn out and going to bed!)

Ok,
I ran the maintenance on the user gallery database. I have absolutely no faith in the software that runs it, so please let me know if your problem is fixed.
At least it doesn't seem like anything is broken.

Thanks John, but the image seems to have disappeared now so I reposted it.
Judging by the bulge in your jockstrap avatar, you definitely need a hand... I'd be only too willing to supply one!
(Seriously sucking up to the moderator here) :D

Unfortunately, that seems to be the way the database maintenance fixes things - it can't make missing photos appear, but can make the call to them disappear.
As for the "hand" - I'll have to ask Adrian if long distance hand jobs count as cheating. If not, i'm all for it! ;-)

The day cannot be too far away when you will be able to do exactly that over the Internet. I believe the technology already exists, it is mainly a matter of waiting for the price to drop. Already they can use "data gloves" and so-called haptic sensing for 2 people to perform a virtual handshake - the next step is obvious. The sex industry has always been a leader in adopting new technology, and this will be no different. When it happens, it will transform our cybersex world. You heard it here first. Well maybe you have heard it elsewhere, but anyway you have now heard it here. :blowme
