Thanks for creating and managing this marvelous site !
I have a couple of questions though to satisfy my curiousity:
1. What is the difference between the Avatar picture and the Profile picture ?
It looks like the Profile picture is never used except next to the avatar in the Profile page!
2. How is the user gallery picture in the member galleries index selected?
Again thanks and keep up the good works.

The Profile photo is used when you view a person's profile, or also in the member's list (link at the top of the page)
2. How is the user gallery picture in the member galleries index selected?
That's a good question. Unfortunately, I don't know the answer. It seems to defy all logic. As you can probably tell, I didn't write the software that runs the galleries. I've done a quick search and can't find any answer. I"ve looked at my own gallery to see if it's based on date, popularity, views, but my member index thumbnail is the newest, oldest, most popular, or anything i can see.
I'll dig a little deeper and let you know if I figure anything out.
There's a major upgrade to the user gallery software that i'm tried to install last week, but unfortunately, it all blew up and lost the whole database. Luckily i had a backup and restored the gallery. If I get some more time I'll attempt it again - and with any luck one of the enhancements will be more control over your member gallery.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I have one foot in Computer Engineering and the other in Marketing, so it always strikes me when the user interface of a piece of software has some seemingly useless features. I have myself set-up and run a bulletin board based on phpBB a few years ago, and it had the same kind of quirks I could not figure out  .
But I certainly did not mean to give you any extra work! You surely have enough just keeping this thing running. :)
