Some brands/styles of thongs are more comfortable for one person than another just like underwear. If they rub you raw. you aren't wearing the right one for you. What do you do with the ones that don't work-trade them. The ones that do work, wear them and have fun! For sex, it's a great way to tease before somone gets to see everything. If you prefer going naked, it's the closest thing to it at the pool or sea. And the way they feel just wearing them, get a comfortable one and you'll find out. You get the feeling of something wrapping your privates while having a naked butt.

I wear thongs on certain occassions.. not all the time.. it takes time getting used too. And yes, they can be a bit unconfortable if worn for long periods of time.. If, you have a nice ASS.. it probably worth it... you will be able to get loads of attention.. :D

I find I am wearing a thong as my underwear nearly all the time now. I never actually said to myself "Right, I'm going to switch to thongs", it's just happened gradually. I am in the shop buying undies, and the usual bikini briefs are there, and the thong briefs are there, and the thongs normally win out.

As a certain person said in rather unkind terms (let's call him Mr X, though his real name is Bondsman), it does take a little getting used to if you are unaccustomed to the feel of material actually being in contact with your arse crack. Probably it's just becauses it's a different feeling, not because of discomfort.

There may be some guys who don't find them comfortable. If you are carrying a bit of excess fat in that area, the strap gets sort of trapped in there (oh to be a thongstrap!) and you could get chafing. You might find the thinner strap of a G-string better in that case. The Y-back G-string (where the backstrap divides in half and separates in a Y shape before meeting the waistband) is worth a try, that design reduces the length of strap that is in contact with you.

My recommendation: buy a couple of different ones - the cost is not much different from standard briefs - try them, persist with them for a while, and if you don't like 'em they can go in a charity bin and you have not lost a huge investment. Or, knowing this group, some of the members might be happy to take them off your... err... hands. :moon

Personally I think the most erotic undergarment there is, both for look and feel. Others disagree. You may never get to like them... that's OK, chacun a son underpants.
