One of my big underwear fetishes is for underwear with horizontal flys. I am particularly fond of HO1s - they fit so snugly and are so comfortable, however I've also got a German brand - Schiesser - which have a very loose pouch and I don't like as much. I've also got a pair of Sean John briefs, however I think that the fly is too high and too tight to be really convenient.

What other brands are there that are available in the UK? I've scoured the internet and, unless I'm willing to pay a lot for shipping, I can't see much choice. Does anyone know any good European mail order sites? What are the really comfortable brands?

I just bought a pair from LUK which I think are very sexy. The fly is outlined with a grey horizontal strip. They are somewhat elastic and fit more like a Speedo than a brief. They are a Canadian product so I would think there must be a UK distributor. There are good photos at www.Universalgear.com

Sloggi do underwear with a horizontal fly, both in a midi brief style and a hipster short. I haven't bought any yet, but do enjoy wearing my black Hom HO1 brief.

Another shot showing how convenient the horizontal fly is!

WOW! fantastic shots. Thanks
I have some Sloggi; they are not too comfortable because they tend to creep up and get tight - too high cut on sides, I think.
HOM Ho1 have the most comfortable, soft, conforming pouch.
I bought some 2xist with horiz fly from UK about a year ago; also available from South Africa; were discontinued in US. The pouch is not ample but the design is nice; I'll post a pic soon.

Forgot to mention the on-line source in UK : MGENDER. Their website is temporarily closed but you may be able to track down a retail outlet.

New guy here. I just bought a pair of the Luk briefs that SteveMPLS mentioned above. Nice fabric. Snug fit. Probably should have bought a size bigger.

Hi pnhmrk,
I too am a lover of the horizontal fly style and have tried just about all of 'em, which was certainly a stimulating experience if nothing else!
I have cum to the conclusion that the most comfortable and "man-shaped" design is made here in Australia and it's called Bond's S'port Briefs. They have a great shaped pouch, easy access for the wearer or the observer, and the quality of the brief is high too. They come in grey, white of course, navy blue and a great combination of white mesh body with solid pouch.
They have no side seams to dig into you and they are cut under your butt cheeks to avoid the ugly 4-buttocks look under jeans. I have sent these briefs to many American guys who seem to love the way they give you the great looking bulge in jeans or trousers.
They have been described as "sheep-dog" briefs, ...you know, ...they round everything up and head them in the right direction. ...LOL!!!
Seriously, a brief with a great fly-style and a pouch that doesn't crush you to death but also is fitted enough to provide comfort and support
They are available online from a store here called GOWINGS, who will ship and with the rate of exchange at present, you should do fairly well as the store even deducts the local tax.
You should try 'em, ....I always travel with a few new pairs in their packs and have given them to curious guys who ask what I'm wearing and always get good feedback. They are not a hipster style, but not enormous either. Sort of halfway between a brief and a boxerbrief.
I liked 'em so much I take my tag from them.
