Your most expensive purchase

What's the most expensive item of underwear or swimwear you have purchased, and how much did you pay for it?

If it was bought via mail order, include postage - I am interested in how much guys are willing to pay, rather than the price of the item before postage.

U.S. dollars please - that seems to be the currency understood by the most people. There are plenty of web sites that will convert currency for you - http://www.xe.com/ucc for example.

My red Skinzwear tanga comes in at my most expensive purchase - AU$57 including postage from USA to Australia. At current exchange rates that is US$47.

My second most expensive - and the most I have paid in a shop - is AU$54 (US$45) for Whittall and Shon green bikini-style swimmers. This was from a shop called Aussie Boys in the gay ghetto of Sydney - the shop has some great stuff but is not renowned for bargain prices.

The most expensive I have SEEN on display in a shop was a pair of HOM speedos retailing for AU$104! (US$85). They were good, but they were not THAT good. I passed on those.
