I was wondering how many Undies everyone has in their collection? I have just started my collection and have a little more than 50 at this time and its growing quickly. I didn't include the other 50 I don't wear any more that are mostly tighty whities, boxers and boxer briefs. I just cant seem to get rid of them lol.

Call yourself an "underwear fan"???
If you've only got 50 pair, you are suffering severe underwear deprivation!Go out and buy yourself a DECENT supply!
I long ago stopped counting,.....some is in the "for wearing" category, .....some in the "for playing around" category, ...and some is purely for "curiosity value", but I love it all!

I have underwear, swimwear, and some that could be classified as either. Do you want the total, or just the underwear?

I'll enter my tally when I've counted them all. It's not as simple as it sounds, some are in the wardrobe ready to wear, some are in the washpile, some on the washing line, and a few waiting to be ironed. And not forgetting the ones on me right now...

I do think you should allow an option for less than 30 though. It's perfectly possible to have a liking for underwear without owning a whole stack at any one time. Consider: if you have 30 pairs, assuming you change once a day, that means on average each one of those undies that you love so much only gets worn 12 times a year, on average. Don't you think they would feel neglected? Underpants have feelings too, you know.

Gawd you guys cracke me up! The Bondsman thinks I'm suffering "severe underwear deprivation" while Aussie believes if you have more than 30 pair you might be neglecting your undies. You got to be kidding me you iron your undies? The two of you always make me laugh with your never ending wit.

Yes, I iron my underpants - the thong ones too - but only the ones that are all cotton. It only takes a few seconds per undie, and after ironing lots of tiresome things like T-shirts (thankfully I don't work in an office so I don't have to iron business shirts), the underwear provides a bit of comic relief. If you have a pet cat or dog you spend time doing things for it don't you, like feeding, cleaning, combing and grooming, and you think of it as a labour of love rather than a chore. Likewise underpants need to be treated properly and made to feel loved and wanted.

OK, I did not get an answer to my question about underwear vs swimwear, and with some of the items I am not quite sure which it's supposed to be anyway, so I am reporting the lot:

Thongs: 33. (About half of these have a lycra component and could be called swimwear.)

Briefs: 12. (7 cotton briefs, 5 Speedo-style swim briefs .)

Tangas: 2. (One kiniki mesh undergarment, one Skinzwear tanga.)

Swim trunks: 3 (but I use them for running or gym rather than swimming).

plus 1 pair of boxerbriefs.

Total: 51 items, all of which could be (and have been) worn as underwear. About half of them would have been referred to as underwear by the manufacturer.

Well over 100 pairs of Y-Fronts and A-Fronts, me. I love 'em!
