As the name implies, a cockring is a hoop made of metal, leather, or rubber, that encircles the base of the penis and/or the scrotum. Once you have an erection, a cockring is used to restrict blood flow out of the penis, helping to control both erection and ejaculation. It also creates sensations of tightness and pressure that heighten sensitivity and the intensity of an orgasm. Oh yeah, one other thing: it looks and feels hot as hell!
I personally love the feel of the metal ones, they carry ones made from Billet Aluminum, and they are great for wearing all day. I just got one from them, thats why I'm so excited about it. But you can start out with a leather or rubber one. Try these guys, awsome serive , awsome prices, and selection. www.665leather.com

Because they constrict the base of the penis, cockrings will give you a longer lasting and firmer erection, so some guys wear them as an erection aid. Even if you don't have problems in that regard, they still make your cock feel heavy and excited, and a lot of people like the way they look. I like a metal cockring, but they are tricky to put on as opposed to stretchable or snap on ones. One inexpensive way to get a cockring is go to a hardware store or Home Depot type store and buy a 2in diameter brass o-ring. It should cost less than a dollar, and for most guys is the perfect size. To put it on, only when you are soft (!), use some lube. Pull down you balls in your scrotum and push them thru the ring one at a time so the ring is now around your scrotum above your balls. Then push your cock thru the ring (this is why you have to be soft) and pull everything gently forward so the cockring is firmly against your body. If your not already getting hard, a few strokes will get you on your way. If you wear a metal ring, you cannot take it off until you erection goes down, which may be quite a while, so plan ahead.

Try a feed and supply store for horses and live stock if you are looking for metal. The rings they sell for using with harnesses may be the same as they sell in a leather store for more. Just make sure that you run your finger around the inside especially where the weld is. You want it to be even and not with any edges that will cut in to the skin. If they have the right return policy, you might want to buy a couple of sizes , try them at home, and take those back that don't work. How do you find the one that works? After you try a few, you should be be able to tell. (It can be interesting though to go to a leather shop and have them help you get fitted up-very interesting.) I prefer the metal. I am hairy and don't intend to shave. No problem with the metal getting caught in the hair. They don't bite in and grab like the rubber ones do. The leather are next best for me once they soften up. I've been know to wear a leather one in the shower or in the jacuzzi at the gym then let them dry. It helps soften them up and you get a custom fit. If your looking rings of other materials you can sometimes find them in the clearance areas at adult book stores. If you live in a big enough city, sometimes the adult chains will have a store where they send most of their clearance stuff. If you get to wearing them and really like them, one suggestion. If you get to wearing the metal or leather, it helps to remember to take yours off before you go to the airport if you have a flight some where. Same goes if you have to go to court where they have sensors. When they use a hand sensor, where the problem is becomes really obvious when they get to your crotch! Hope this helps.

Ok, I cant seem to find a picture of it, but I got it at a tractor/farm supply store.
I went back to the rope and chain isle and looked at all of their hooks and loops and latches. I got the usual 2" rope rings for my main cock rings, but the smaller "glans" ring, I had to buy a hook or clip that you'd use on a tie out chain for a dog. You can find one with a 1 to 1.5 inch ring on it, but you have to cut off the rest of the clip and throw it away.
But depending on your cock size, you may even be able to find thise rings at Lowes in the rope and chain isle, in the small bins.

The advantage of a leather snap-type ring is that you can undo it at will.
Ther first time I tried a ring it was too small and when I got hard it was uncomfortably tight and I could not remove it. Scary for a while. So it would be a good idea to start with a large size and work your way to the smallest which excites without being too constrictive.

I enjoy the really tight ring, just behind the head as well. I've heard them described as glansrings, headrings, or stoprings. Stopring, I suppose, because they stop you shooting much and leave you ready for a bit more action quite quickly. They also make you feel good to your partner as you enter, or good to feel as your partner's wearing one when he gets in.

From my understanding of the process of orgasm and ejaculation:
If an ejaculation is obstructed from shooting out, it is forced back up into the bladder and expelled when you urinate. It is not saved, not does it affect the nuts.
