I always clean after shaving with alcohol 70% (hurts a bit) and afterwards use Nivea after shave creme. Works for me for many years, and gives the smoothest result..

I know a few guys that shave, and they say a warm bath or a warm towel over the area, to be shaved, use cold water for rinsing the razor, keep the blades cold, and the area warm and moist.

And afterwards use lotion with aloe to sooth the skin, suppose to stop the red bumps, and the irritation...

On the odd occasion that I decide to shave, and I'll only shave my bollocks, I get a brand new twin bladed razor, and after a long soak in the bath, use the razor and shaving foam.

Is the Phillips Body Groomer really better than a regular electric razor? I keep a Norelco just for my pubic hair and I still get ingrown hair. I've also tried the cold razor blades, but it's worse.

I had an old boyfriend who used Nivea, for his cockrings, but does it really do anything for shaving?

Shaved pubes and balls are HOT. Look HOT, feel HOT. Shave or trim all you want. I have used Aloe Vera jell afterwords...no pain, no rash, nice cool feeling.

Guess what, i bought a Phillips Body Groomer on my way home after watching the fireworks in downtown yesterday. I decided to give it a try a while ago and it really works. Actually works GREAT!!! Way better than the trimmer that i have.

Well, i don't shave my legs and arms. just my groin area leaving a patch at the end of the shaft. looks really clean. no more hair sticking out above the waistband and on both sides of the leg openings.

I have been using thei Phillips-Norelco Bodygroom for about two months.
I can reach places the I could not reach before. It is very easy to clean. :eek: All the parts on the plades section come appart. I use the part with the "edge blades first to cut the LENGHT of the hair and then I finish with the SCREEN (part where the blades are hidden).
:rolleyes: I like men that with hair but not in the groing and 'perianus" area. If I want to floss, I use dental floss not someone else's hair. ;)

BTW, :shocked if you are planning to shave, take a warm bath (as hot as possible) then trim the lenght of the hair (or you can do that before the bath).
:shocked ALWAYS use a new shaving disposable razor blade. :shocked DO NOT use the same blade that you use for your face.
:shocked Check the women's blades, choose one of those that says "bikini". Also use shaving cream or soap.
BE VERY CAREFUL,

Truth about Magic Shave. One, if it's the Magic Shave Powder in the cardboard canister, then you got trouble if you used it to remove pubic and ball hair. Two, same goes for the Magic Shave cream in a plastic tube. Both products were not meant for that purpose.

Magic Shave was developed for removing facial hair for men. It was developed for black men because we broke out in nasty shaving bumps after using razor blades to shave. I've had this discussion on shaving on my thongs list on Yahoo years ago. At the time, the best product to use to shave pubes and balls was Epil Stop and it co product Epil Stop And Spray. Also chatted about was a product called Nads from Australia. It is like doing a home waxing job. There was a version of Nads for men and using it was just as painful from the info I had gathered then.

I use the Philips Bodygroom, its just perfect for keeping things smooth and pubes neatly trimmed. If I want real smooth balls and crack, then its VEET sensitive, on for no longer than 10 minutes, otherwise you get burnt, then out comes the talc!!!

Would never trust myself with a blade down there, no way!

It's the Philips bodygroomer for me too, works a treat, two changeable heads, one for smooth close shave and a trimmer for your pubes, if you don't want them all removed. Once done, it's good ol Johnsons Baby Powder to cool things down LOL.
