Just a quick cultural query. I presume that "Marks & Sparks" refers to Marks & Spencer (Who've had no US presence since they divested themselves of Brooks Brothers some years ago). Is the nikname supposed to cheeky, or derisionary? Is it just so rote for most Britons that few remember, anymore? Just, curious, and I apologize for the non-topicality.

Spedophile - That's a good question and one that I don't know the answer to :confused: My mother always called them "Marks and Sparks", so did my grandmother, although both my father and grandfather called them just "Marks". I suppose you're right - it's just rote now.
