Today at the University Rec Centre while I was getting changed to go to the gym, I noticed another guy getting changed. He slipped on a thong followed by a pair of fairly short running shorts.
I mention this because it's highly unusual for me to see anyone else in a thong in the changing-room, or in fact in any changing-room. I know guys must be buying them, there are lots in the menswear departments so they must be selling like hotcakes, but they seem to keep them well hidden. (I, of course, make no effort to conceal the fact that I'm wearing a thong, nor do I particularly parade it.)
His thong was black - I think it might be one of the new Jockey line. I say "new" because I hadn't seen these particular Jockey thongs until I purchased a pair last month. Jockey, of course, is one of the original underwear manufacturers, and is probably the source of the word "jocks" as Australian slang for underpants.
