Middle of last year we approached the swimwear company Solar to manufacture a couple of swimwear pieces to our specification for us.

We've just taken delivery of them now apart from one colour in the string style so as soon as that arrives and we have the images ready they will be going live

I've put up live a preview in the colours we do have at the moment which i'd be interested in hearing some initial views - I know they won't be to everyones taste due to the "wild" prints, but this was necessary because the swimwear incorporates Tan Thru which are little micro pores which allow the UV rays through to give a all over tan and without the prints the swimwear would become see through.

Anyway let me know what you think

The rear on the string suit is great but there is too much fabric in the front for my liking. Why not an adjustable front so it can be worn on many types of beach/ countries.

We did think about i.e make it like a MANStore cache string which has the slideable pouch but when I looked at our sales stats it was obvious to me that that particular style wasn't one of our best sellers so went for a full front instead.

It is difficult to see the details of the fabric, but I like both styles and would consider buying them. I'm not certain the waist band of the thong would be tan-thru which might be a problem for some.

The history of the owner of Solar swimwear given below the pictures of the suits is interesting. Model shows the suits well too.

Yes the waistband wouldn't be tan thru, it was a difficult decision to make when designing the look of it.

One one had it would of been good to be totally tan thru
On the other hand there is such a demand for the very thin waistband style it was hard to ignore, If anyone remembers the HOM massai swim string we sold out of it in a matter of days and had to reorder 4 times
