Must admit I'm loving a new commercial here promoting a local chain store's underwear range.
It shows a view from inside a shop window out onto the street where all the passerbys and shoppers are wearing just undies. Apart from several girls in bras and panties, there's a very hunky window cleaner in tight boxer briefs; another guy arrives on a motor scooter towing the large slogan on a little cart, but the hottest is the delivery guy with the great body who rides up on his bicycle in VERY brief bikini briefs and dismounts, leaning his bike against the window and walking off, much to the interest of the window cleaner.
All very nice, BUT the best bit for me is the slogan, .....which has LONG been a catch-cry of mine, and I'm sure it will resonate with many others here too.

"IT'S MORE FUN IN YOUR UNDIES, .........where good times start!"

Unfortunately, we would NEVER get an ad like that here in the USA (woe is me). Too many prudes, too many closed-minded pinheads. :(

Of course the drug companies have ads that talk about Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, ED, semen, etc. on TV during prime time. Where are our prudes when we need them? :confused: (USA is the only country in the world that allows prescription drugs to be advertised in the lay press.)

It's like our approach to sex education here in Texas. ABSTINENCE-ABSTINENCE-ABSTINENCE! If we tell young people about sex, birth control, condoms, they will go out and HAVE SEX! Horrors! Of course, our teenage pregancy rate is among the highest in the nation.

Bondsman, the more you talk about the land of OZ, the more I want to go there. By the way, I use to correspond with relatives in Austria. I had to write "Austria-Europe" so my letters did not end up down under.

Hmmmm, not at all surprising. A huge percentage of Yank kids can't point to the good ol'e U.S of A, (their very OWN country), when shown a map. (But just ask 'em where the MacDonalds happens to be........even three counties away!)
Still, it's nice to know we now outrank some tiny European ski-field in American's eyes. Must have been the fact that they got so used to seeing our former Australian Prime Minister SO far up Dubbya's arse?;)
