websites for storing pics

Hi guys

Can any of you recommend a good (preferably free, or one-off payment) site where you can store pics? By which I mean pics collected off the web, if-you-know-what-I-mean!!! Nothing hardcore, just some hot photos.

Have tried xtube, but the slide feature doesn't work, so any advice would be gratefully acknowledged.

Flickr.com would be my first choice. Basic storage is free, and a cheap yearly subscription allows you to organize them to your heart's content. Just be sure to label your photos appropriatlely - private or public depending on if there is nudity or not.

It's full featured and easy to upload and organize. I use it all the time - just lookup my username (deusex) and make me a friend and I'll do the same for you.

I've checked out Flickr and they don't allow content collected from the web to be uploaded if it isn't yours, from a copyright point of view.

Have you had a problem with this? I wouldn't want my 'collection' of pics to be suddenly deleted! :shocked

As well, I think you are referring to adult style photos, which are also prohibited.

A low cost option would be buying your own personal website from a cheap service like godaddy or something, and using it to store your media.

If its for your own personal use, and your concern is having images and video on your PC, I would suggest getting a USB drive.

I only post my own photos to Flickr, but half of the thousand of people who have "friended" me on Flickr only have net collected photos in their galleries. I think as long as you don't make your galleries public, then there wouldn't be an issue.

I think if you're storing copyrighted photos then you risk deletion anywhere you store them online. But it seems Flickr turns a blind eye if you follow the rules.

Adult style photos are not prohibited on Flickr, you just need to mark them as "private" so only your "friends" can see them.
