Jockstraps at the sauna

I went to the local gay sauna last Friday night, and was surprised and pleased to see a couple of patrons walking around in jockstraps instead of the ubiquitous towel-around-the-waist, a style that I find totally unsexy. I'm normally the only person there wearing anything - normally a thong - so I hope I have started a trend.

Not being a frequenter of saunas, or all that familiar with sauna etiquette ...(readers will know I eat in and eschew take-away), but yes, I agree SweatyAussie.
A jockstrap would certainly allow for the display of the wearer's er, ..."charms" far better than some cheap stained towel.
And it just looks better too, specially to an underwear fan.
Sometimes, ...if I'm very good, (bad?), Dearest Boyf. will serve dinner wearing one. I have to say some of his best cuisinary efforts, ...and he's a most excellent chef, ..... have been eaten very COLD!

Heh. Some men in the sauna I go to just walk in completely nude. I walk in with a towel but I just use it as a seat once I'm in there. Feels so good to just lie down completely nude, and of course the towel is there to avoid getting dirty.

Just returned from the islands, and I'm very happy to say that I saw many a man at my fav clothing optional beach first removing his shorts (yes dork shorts) only to display a very nice jockstrap underneath. While I can't stand bored shorts (to quote bondy) I do enjoy the jockstrap. Of course the final doffing of the jock to attain the maximum in sun exposure was (and is) the best part of the show.

As I have previously mentioned, I have also seen my fair share in the gym locker rooms as well.

Yes there is a definite rise in jockstraps... The sightings of which usually cause a rise in my own! :D

I've gotten dirty in the sauna before. ;D

But when you think of the amount of bacterium of how many sweaty men have been lounging there, all absorbed into the wood... maybe I'm just a bit of a germophobe. Having a towel to lie on is also a bit more comfortable than having your bare skin on the hot wood.

Sure - the only good use for a towel in a sauna is to have something to sit on! I notice more guys at saunas sport cockrings these days - good news!

Well I'll certainly have to take your word for it, .....not being a frequenter of "saunas", (in the sense we are using it here!), ....I can only ask what about hot wood on "hard wood"?
