View Full Version : Underwear nights at the local bar?

Given all of the great underwear that I see on this site, how many of you participate in an underwear night at your local bars? I've attended two -- one at 440 Castro in San Francisco and one at the Bike Stop here in Philadelphia. The Bike Stop also has Monday jock strap night but I haven't gone yet. Both times that I did participate were comfortable and more fun than casting furtive glances at the gym.

Participate? Of course, ......and if it doesn't just happen to be a designated "underwear" night, I find I can quite easily MAKE it one!
It's rare that I don't lead at least one group undies dance sequence on the floor at any dance-party I attend. Blokes love it!

Wow, the gay scene down under really is different. The City of Brotherly Love (and Sisterly Affection) is rather more conservative. The underwear nights I mention occur only at our leather/Levi bar.

It's only undies mate, .....and with the amount of underwear on display in public with low cut jeans, it's hardly shocking these days.
Besides, it's a gay dance-party, usually VERY hot and sweaty, with blokes having their shirts off already and wearing shorts or the likes.
When wearing underwear I am probably more covered than when on a public beach in my speedos.
I have never found blokes need much encouragement to drop their daks and show off their usually expensive undies in the heat of the moment. Just remember to wear your WHITE ones, ...black just fades out on the semi-darkened dance floor, ...and doesn't show off any "bulge" at all!;););)
Oh, and one other thing, ......they never seem to come home as white as they were when you put them on!

None of the above, ......and despite any accusations of "blethering", I CAN still spell, ....even "attention"! See above?
I believe it to be an English word too?
See, the brain cells are still intact despite what they say about the effects of dance music!
Sometimes, those more shy amongst us may need a little prompting to bring out their very best. In my own humble way I try to provide that stimulus from time to time.

Oh, and out here, we have dance floors so generous you don't need to "hog", .....a bit of a change from being invited up to the "big hoose" once a year to roll the old carpet back for the Gay Gordons, eh?

Well if you will insist on spelling "grammEr" THAT way, perhaps my gentle services are indeed needed from time to time. Forgive me?
Never mind, when in Scotland I actually had to ask my host's family if they were speaking English, ...which they insisted they were.
I couldn't understand a word....!
Still, I did manage to leave some gifts of new snowy white briefs amongst the kilts, so I guess they got my drift, ...or perhaps they were just being extremely canny and accepting free undies?
Met a few "Dashing White Sergeants" too! It isn't always true what they say about Scotsmen and their kilts!;)

I always wondered what use they could be :o I was told that they were to keep your bits and pieces in but that didn't quite sound right :angel

Surely you know there are NO pockets in a kilt?
Ofcourse you have to have somewhere to hold your keys and money, and carrying a handbag never manages to look masculine, .....but if you string it round your waist and call it a sporran, ....och aye!
It can hold down the front of the kilt if you are used to sitting with your knees apart and prevent the world from seeing some Scottish views NOT listed in your travel guide, ...but this doesn't always work, see below!

Hey! Quit hijacking my thread. This thread is about underwear night at the bars, not kilts!

Oh, ...sorry Philly, naughty me....but pnhmrk DID ask about sporrans!:o
In my own defence I will say it's very rare for any thread here to remain "on topic".
However I will certainly return this one to your control....

Yes, yes, sporrans. Thank you for returning the helm.

Anyhow I did attend the Bike Stop's Jockstrap night and it WAS fun! I was there on a Monday a few weeks back as voyeur. I thought the night might be a bust because we got there at around 10:30 and only two guys were in jocks. However, at about 12:00 to 12:30am there was a good amount to see and unlike a locker room one is encouraged to look. One particular guy was worth noting here. He wore a red jock, knee high leather boots and an army hat. He was tall and angular. Hot!

So if you're ever in Philly on a Monday night and can stay up rather late, the Bike Stop is the place to be!

No, jockstrap night is about wearing nothing but a jock and some "accessories" like shoes and a hat.

However, a kilt with a jock underneath on Saturday and Friday nights would be quite welcome!
