Posting Pics

I don't want to discourage anyone from posting pics, but I really want to try to stress how important picture size is. When pics are oversized it poses two problems:

1. It breaks up the page and makes it difficult to navigate.

2. It eats up a lot of bandwidth and bandwidth costs money.

I've just changed the maximum photo size for attachments to 800x600, but to be honest, the best size for posting attachments is around 550 pixels in width. Most graphic programs can resize photos quite easily. There are great freeware and shareware programs available like Paint Shop Pro and ACDSee which can resize photos with ease.

how about also keeping related pictures in the same thread - for example, if you have some pictures that are just different poses in the same underwear, post them all in the same thread instead of making separate ones for each picture.

Great suggestion, just makes it all more organized and less cumbersome to view all the pics.

Mistakes do happen, so don't worry if you post incorrectly, but also remember that you can edit your posts and fix things.
