Private albums

Is there a way of getting notifies when a contact loads/updates a private album or do u just need to check back from time to time?

there isn't a way to do that. It's a great idea, hopefully the Vbulletin will include that feature. They just added the friend/contact feature, and what you are suggesting is a logical next step. As it stands, I don't see a whole lot of purpose with the whole friend thing, other than allowing them to see your private albums.

Ideally u would get notified anytime a friend updates an album, private or not, but more useful for the privates as they are not really obvious. Alternatively, would be good to see the private albums of friends with all the regular albums but I dunno how possible that is.

I didn't write the software that runs the site. It's purchases, and it's just not worthwhile for me to hack into the software. The only thing I can do is wait for the next upgrade and hope they include those features.

With that said, what you suggested is, like I said, a logical step in the development of those new features (friend system and albums) so I can actually see that happening.
