I'd love to hear what other guys do to prolong their pleasure before the climax while jerking off.

Use lots of lubrication.
Take it slow.
Avoid alcohol.
Cum once, then wait a while and try it again.
Phone sex with a jack-off buddy to try to cum at the same time.
Cock ring.

ENJOY!

A little alcohol never hurts. Take it slow, when you feel like you are going cum, slow down even more, take a few deep breaths and start all over again. When you finally let yourself go the orgasm will be long and you'll cum like never before. Your partner will appreciate your new stamina.

I agree that easing off the slow stroke and then resuming is the way to go. You have to learn your own rhythm and body. Just before you get to the point of "no return", relax and let that sensation cool off. Then resume but always slowly. Then when you're ready to let it fly, tease it over the edge.
Sometimes I like to but my fingers at the base of my cock, almost entering my hole and press against my cock - actually near the prostate.
Sometimes I get excitement by closing my thumb and adjacent finger around my ballsac at the base of my cock. Then gently tug downward on my balls.

A little alcohol might help relax you, but a little more may either remove your control of the experience or put you to sleep. Either way, you defeat the terrific sensual pleasure you want to have from mastrubation. I agree with the last guy to comment on this. Take it slow. Control the action. Lube reduces the friction and prolongs the experince. Like everything else, practice makes perfect. Practice a lot.

Good point about the lube, especially if you're cut. Some of the lube dries out too fast. There is a new brand on the mkt called "Stroke" which feels like lard out of the container but it holds up ok. An old reliable is a cosmetic-remover called "Albolene". It has a parfin base, I think, and quickly breaks down to a liquid which is slow to dry. The effect is great. Look in the cosmetic section of drug store.
