Here's where you can post your own reviews of your favorite (or least favorite) underwear/swimwear shops on the net. Have you had a great experience, or did you have problems with online ordering? This is the place to let us know all about it!

Well I just bought from Audace (this is the 2nd time) and thier service is very fast. I bought a black 2xist Y back thong as well as a couple of pairs of 2xist briefs. I love NEW undies! I can't wait to were my thong with my loose fitting jeans.

I have also bought from Audace, and they were fast and reliable. If you can, why don't you show us all a pic of you in your new thong! Either post it here in one of the forums, or over at the un-der-wear site in the amateur section! I know we'd all like to see it on you!
enjoy your new thong!

I was shocked today when I went to Undergear to shop for the first time in a long time and they wanted to charge me almost $7.00 to ship ground in the US (1 swimsuit) as well as an almost $2.00 charge for "Service." I was shocked. What part do THEY pay for as the vendor.
Sorry, Undergear, ya lost me.

One site that isn't on your list that you might want to consider is universalgear.com. This is not an exclusively underwear site, so that might be why it's not here, but their underwear/swimwear section features multiple views of most products and a distinctly gay sensibility. I have not ordered from them online, but I have shopped at one of their bricks-and-mortar stores and that was a pleasure.

Steve-
I've got to agree. I found the DC store better stocked than Chicago. Also found that this year there was a lot less focus on swimwear (a lot fewer options) this year-more an issue for me than others on this board- but perhaps salient to some, Also found a bunch of things in the physical store that I never saw on the web (very common).
Found the staff very friendly and helpful.
This trend against swimwear aeems to be true in other venues, too- like Audace, Jocko, Metro Man- I'm guessing that swimwear has become too seasonal for its price point.
Respectfully-

hey guys,
My not having Universal Gear was just an oversight. I'm not sure if you noticed, but I have their ads all over the reviews section. I'll add a review this weekend.
(see the new post in announcements for an explanation of the ads)
The reviews are no where near a complete list of all the shops. Most have been found by doing searches on Google. Using translators, i've converted words likes "men's underwear" or "swimwear for men" or "men's boxers" etc.... into other languages to try to find as many shops as I can. As I find new ones, I put them up. I have a lot of new ones from a search session I did a few weeks ago that I just haven't had time to do reviews for yet, but will work hard this weekend to get a few of the new ones up yet.
The only criteria I use for adding reviews is that they sell underwear or swimwear - if they sell other products that's fine.
Honestly, I have a real prejudice for those typical lingerie shops that sell those ridiculous underwear for mem with elephant trunks and stupid saying on them while they have the most beautifully designed women's lingerie. I feel it's an insult and quite sexist (isn't that a reversal of attitude?) - so I won't list many of those type of shops, otherwise, any other shop can get listed.
Since I've started this site, a few great designers like Aussiebum, Banana Man and Xhib.com (going up this week) have found this site and let me know they exist - and I thank them for it! Thier shops just didn't come up in all the searches I've done.
And now - thanks you to you guys and this message board, hopefully i'll find out about even more (good or bad) that I can add to the review section.
Thanks for participating in the boards, keep coming back and keep posting. The board is really young and I was getting a bit worried that it wouldn't work, but now I can tell that in a short time, we will have a great community here!

Another shopping site that is certainly worth looking at is homwear.com. I haven't shopped there, but those Euro-guys sure are sexy with such a different look than most US underwear models. And the undergear and accessories are unusual, sexy, and fun.
