I have been contemplating getting a cock piercing but don't know what type to get. Anybody have any pros / cons of different cock piercings.

I shall be very interested in what you guys have to say about this. I, for one, couldn't even bear to think about it.

me neither......just the thought of getting my cumslit pierced.....or having a ring/stud in it makes my toes curl, my balls contract inside my body and ass clench so tight even a fart wouldnt escape

not my thing.............but each to their own......no doubt i'll be told off for such comments

Bondsman had some interesting observations in another thread on here.

Personally, I'm not the piercing type of guy. But to each his own.

lovesquirters,
I have to echo the comments above.

I wouldn’t recommend it, especially at the tip of the penis. These typically are piercings that go through the meatus (opening in the glans where urine/semen comes out) and out the frenulum (the bridge of skin from the undersurface of the penis to the glans). This creates a “fistula,” which is an abnormal opening from one part of the body to the other. This channel will eventually heal, so that it will not close off if you change your mind later and don’t want to wear a ring in the future. It would have to be surgically repaired. (I’ve had patients with piercings ask me about this but so far have not done any cases like this.) When you pee without the ring in, urine will come out the meatus and the piercing. We guys already have a hard enough time hitting the toilet!

As a health professional I also worry about the person doing your piercing. A contaminated needle could infect you with HIV, hepatitis, and bacterial infections. As a “foreign body” in your penis it would increase your risk (and your partner’s risk) of sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV, hepatitis, herpes, warts, not to mention bacterial infections of the penile skin and the urinary tract (urethra, bladder, prostate, kidneys). Bacterial infections are not that common but when they occur they can be severe and life-threatening. And they can happen even in healthy men.

Now, I expect I’ll get some flak from guys (gals do it too!) who are big time believers in piercings and can give all kinds of anecdotal advice about how “safe” it is, how “hot” it is, how it really “improved” their sex lives. As readysalted and kev said, to each his own. (And no, I don't have any piercings myself.)

Any comments, Bondsman? Others?

MAkes me shudder at the thought of it. Does this type of piercing improve the sensation of ejaculating? Must be kind of sore for the recipient of a pierced and ringed cock?

I've got a PA or prince albert that i've had for years. I can take it out and have had no problems hitting the toilet with or with out the ring

As mentioned you really need check out who is doing the piercing and if you and your partner want to go for it.

I have said before here that I am NOT a fan of piercings at all. The ones through the bottom lips into the mouth actually make me feel ill! I have deliberately refrained from entering this debate as people sometimes take offence if I disagree, but I note that quite a few others have already expressed their dislike above.

Yes, you probably can, ...and everything else around it at the same time. I have mentioned before here that in my group there is one bloke with a PA. It's a running joke, (pun intended), that no one will go to the urinal for a piss if he's there. You can end up wet from the knees down. We call him the "Watering Can"!
I notice that the original poster above who was considering a piercing has chosen the name "loveSQUIRTERS".
If that's your thing, ....and I certainly agree the male ejaculation is a wonderful and spectacular thing to behold, ....a piercing may certainly inhibit this visual treat to a great degree.
Besides, I don't really want a dick-piercing myself, .....I have found a FAR more novel variation involving both dicks and piercings. See below:

I had a PA for many years. It was the best present I ever gave myself. As soon as I was able to use my "cut" cock again after the wound healed, it was much more sensitive than before. I think that it was like my foreskin was put back. My partners said that the touch with their prostates was very exciting and by experience I know that mating with a PA-ed man is extremely good. I recommend a PA.

I'm with you on this one. Much more sensitive than before. It is especially stimulating when I pull my cock through the fly of my briefs and let my jeans rub against it whenever I move. Sensational!
I just got an e-mail from a guy who said he "Wasn't much into the hardware but could overlook it." I can appreciate that and some of Bondsman's comments as well. That is why when I go in for the next size I'm going to get one that I can remove as the situation dictates. However, I recently had an encounter with a guy who had never experienced pierced cocks before and he thought it was OK. Certainly didn't impede his oral skills any.:blowme

BTW: The pain lasted all of 1-2 seconds. Much less severe than that caused by some less skilled medicos trying to draw blood.

I have been contemplating getting a cock piercing

About ten years ago I had my nipples pierced. The nipple on the right never really healed so I ended up taking them out after about eighteen months. I think that having my nipples pierced was the most painful thing I've ever had done to me whilst awake :( I dread to even think how painful having my dick pierced would be:eek:

First a disclaimer so you know where I am coming from:

Like many others who have replied in this thread, I find the very thought of getting ANY part of me pierced, especially my dick, repellent. I also have a difficult time enjoying sex - any kind of sex - with a guy who wears a PA. That darned ring seems to get in the way when sucking, hand-wanking or whatever - and no way would I ever let one up my arse, with or without a condom.

If you really have your mind set on getting a piercing then I guess you will do it anyway - but I have the disturbing feeling that the motive is because you rightly or wrongly perceive it as being fashionable in some quarters. It will probably make no difference my saying it, but really ANY kind of semi-permanent body modification should NEVER be done as a fashion statement. That applies to piercings, tattoos and anything else that can't be undone without some kind of surgery - which will never entirely reverse the process. Fashion, by its very nature, comes and goes. An English friend of mine bitterly regretted getting himself tattooed while in the Navy - he did so of course because all his mates were doing the same.

Dyeing your hair blue is fine - it's not something I would do, but if you do that and next year the dyed look is considered passe, fine, you can just go back to natural colour. Jeans looking a bit unfashionable? No problem, buy a new pair and sell your old ones or give them to charity. Piercings and tattoos considered old hat this year? Sorry pal, you're stuck with the ones you have.

Think it over carefully. And if you still want it done, PLEASE make sure everything's sterile.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I used to have both my nipples pierced. I simply got bored of it and removed them years ago, but my reasoning wasn't for fashion...

I got them done right after my first boyfriend dumped me. Although I was always a control freak, I gave up so much of myself for this relationship (including dropping out of college) So there I was, completely lost and not sure of what to do next... It was at that time that I got my nipples pierced. I was frightened to have it done, but doing so was empowering - and the first step to taking my life back - and healing. And it worked.

I'm sure that sounds corny, but there you go.

Corny, not at all. Getting my PA was empowering too. I also had been in an abusive relationship and recovery from that is difficult. Self-empowerment is a very important part of the process.

Thanks for your post.:)

I believe you when you say it was "empowering", ....but considering the very considerable pain and fear involved, I do hope it wasn't to psychologically "punish" yourself for losing control? Most blokes just go out and get a new haircut!
Without in any way trying to demean or offend you at all, (your choice is your own and we all heal in our different ways), ...but if I was dumped, it just would never occur to me to say "I'm so lost and all alone, ....I know what I'll do, I'll go out and have my nipples pierced!":shocked
Still, if it worked for you, ...it worked!
How dare that bloke dump you, ...still, if he hadn't, would you have found the beautiful versexx and been as happy as you are now?
It's an ill wind.......
