A fly is a useless design. What's so difficult about merely pulling down to waistband when needed?

Well now it rather depends on just which fly-style you have been trying.
Personally, (and I do mean that) I find it OK to pull down the waist band if you are a lover of low-rise briefs or bikini styles of course but if you happen to like a more classic style then the waistband is obviously higher up under your pants/jeans waistband and involves a bit more fiddling around.....unless you undo the pants waist too.
Now I do admit as I've stated in an earlier post, that some of the more expensive brands, and Calvin Klein is a major offender here, make totally useless flys on some of their briefs and it's bloody near impossible to twist your dick out such a tiny, right-angled design.
Another problem for some guys who like to go "over the top" so to speak, is the fact that letting the waistband rest against the bottom of the penis while pissing can trap a few drops of urine in the urethra and this can cause you to "dribble"and make an embarrassing wet spot in your pants when you put yourself away.
I find the increased erotic possibilities of a fly fronted brief highly exciting, but I do realise that many guys like bikini styles sans flys.
Whatever turns you on of course, but a fly makes it far easier to have sex with your briefs ON!
And don't we all like that???

That's funny. I cannot remember the last time I got ready to piss WITHOUT undoing the top of the pants.
In fact I had almost fogotten that a fly can be used in this way. To me, the fly zip or buttons are just the means by which one opens up the top of the pants to get in or out of them. Undoing the top button, unzipping the fly and taking down the waistband of the underpants is far quicker and easier for me than trying to get my dick out of the opening. And if it gets hard or even semi-hard while it's out, then forget about any ideas of fitting it back in without undoing the pants.

Getting the pants undone might be a bit more time-consuming for guys who wear a belt, though even then I think I would still do it that way. Even if I wore fly-front briefs.

For me the only valid reason for wearing fly-fronts is if you like the look and feel (which is of course a perfectly valid reason). :)

One thing i've always loved about HOM underwear is the H01 range which has a horizontal fly so you literally just reach down and whip it out (or get someone else to reach in and whip it out if thats your thing :D )
