liner

Just received a new square cut swimsuit. It has a brief style liner. I don’t like the vpl. Any tips or tricks to cutting out a liner? Scissors or razor blade? Looking for suggestions. Thank you.

I am at a loss for what to use as a liner for board shorts. Something comfortable yet light, breathable and easy access as a swimsuit liner would be whether wet or dry. boxer style would be nice but brief is good too. Are there any loose fitting netted skivvies available that would suffice?
