“Grab”. pics from old site.

Hallo Deusex. and wow! a huge thanks for all the hard work you must have put in for a very long time to produce this new exciting bright and bouncy modern new. site. for us.
Help! You tell us to “grab” pics from our old albums...please tell me. how to do this.......I don;t have these pics on file anywhere else. and don’t want to loose them. Thanks, Dawgboi

There should be a notice at the top of the new site (unless you dismissed it by click the X) telling you where the old site is (and all the old photos). It's still there, and will be around for at least another few months.

Regardless, just go to https://usg-online.com/forums and you'll find the old site and everything intact.

The old site is like a ticking time bomb. As soon as my server hosts upgrade the software (PHP, and MYSQL) the old site will break. There is nothing I can do about it as the software developer for the old site stopped supporting their software and providing upgrades. Luckily, the server was recently upgraded to I can't imaging them upgrading it again for a few months (at the earliest.)

I can find all my old pics no probs. ....but how do I “grab” them. as you were telling. us. to do.. in order to use some of them on the new site?I only have an ipad. and don’t have these pics anywhere else....thnx, Dawg

When I say grab them, I just mean you can download them. Unfortunately, there's no way to download all your photo at once. You can only download one at a time, not just on an iPad but any other device. It's the same with this site. I wish there was a better solution.

In case you don't know how to download a photo on your iPad, just visit your albums over at the old site, click on a photo, then touch and hold the photo which will then give you the option to download it to your iPad.

It's a time consuming process but that's the reason I'm leaving the old site running as long as I can. It will be available for at least a few more months and hopefully longer.

I figured as much and didn't take offense, I found it really funny. I use an iPhone and you should see my terrible texts - especially when I do text to speech!
