Does anyone have any recommendations on which is/are the best site(s) for uploading home made photos and videos? By "best" I mean sites on which my kind of videos, which tend to feature a lot of underwear. sminwear, tight shorts and tight jeans, rather than nudity, are likely to get a lot of interest in the form of views and comments.
I used to upload my videos and photos to XTube, and I used to get quite a lot of feedback on that site, but we all know what happened with XTube. To post there now, you have to become an "amateur model", which means giving them all your personal details, photo of ID, etc., which I don't wish to do and in any case I am not interested in trying to make money out of it, I just want to get noticed and get feedback from guys who like my videos.
I now use XVideos, and the functioning of the site seems just fine, but after being there for several months I find that for whatever reason I am just not getting many bites. I had videos on XTube that generated several thousand views and a dozen or so comments in just the first few days, yet on XVideos these same videos have got less than a thousand views each after being there for several months; more important, no comments at all except for one entirely irrelevant comment. I conclude that it's either fewer clientele, or a different kind of clientele. XVideos seems to have a lot of videos that appear to be from professional studios - their logo appears in the videos - so maybe the audience is made up more of people who want professional porn rather than those like me who just want to see ordinary guys showing off in their gear. XVideos is fine as a hosting site, for example so that I can embed videos on USG, but I was hoping for something more, something more like a community in its own right.
I was wondering if this is the case with all the other sites as well, or whether any of them are more oriented towards guys that just like to show off for each other. In short, I want something like usg-online, but one that has video uploading and is for more than just underwear. There is Fetlife, but the problem there is that only "premium" (i.e. paying) members can view other people's videos, besides which it's not a dedicated gay site so most of the members are hetero and most of thevideos feature females.
