I belong to another forum that is also XenForo, so the interface is pretty familiar to me, apart from a few cosmetic differences.

The "rear end" is definitely the same as the software is what it is. The only difference could be any "addons" the other board decided to install.

I'm hoping to eventually improve the front end from a "cosmetic" stand point but figured I'd get the thing launched first and tweak it later. I've seen some Xenforo sites with insane (frantic) background images and redesigned menu buttons all over the place but in most cases, I think they detract from the websites. I think the member content should be the attraction.

I'm sure you're aware, but your videos were removed from Xtube. Xtube and Pornhub removed all videos from any members who are not "verified".

Pornhub is removing all videos uploaded to its site by unverified users, millions of videos in total, as part of a crackdown on user-uploaded content after two major payment processors suspended service. The decision, first reported by Motherboard, stems from a New York Times report that found the site was hosting videos of people who are underage and videos showing children being assaulted.

I don't see most of the video posters reposting their videos as to become "verified" you have to upload a photo of yourself showing your face and holding up a piece of paper with your username and pornhub.com (or xtube.com) written on it. They do say these photos are private, however.

Wow! I had no prior warning of this from XTube. I just logged on today for the first time in several days to find all my stuff gone, and sent them a support query. Then I logged on here.

I actually don't think that requirement for providing a verification photo is too onerous, but as I said, a little warning would have been nice. I expect a lot of guys will just abandon them, not so much out of privacy concerns but simply because they are so shat off with their shabby treatment of members.

I still have most or all of my photos and videos here on my PC, but I'll have to think about how much enthusiasm I have for uploading them all over again - including selecting the tags, writing all the descriptions, etc.

Had the same thing happen to me mate ... on Xtube, and also being a VERIFIED member on PornHub ... deleted both accounts ... not worth the time and effort in uploading again, trying to track down favourites etc., they've screwed themselves over big time.
