Always had a crush on Colin Farrell, I have a weakness for Irish accents and he's so damn hot. I also loved his sex tape, while so many people thought it was scandalous, to me it was a very genuine and endearing video of two people having sex - with moments of silliness, humour, clumsiness and honesty.

So, you can imagine my joy when my husband found this video of Colin before he became famous modeling an HOM thong for a British tv show. Shame it's not better quality.

Although it's no surprise after seeing the sex tape that he fills that though out so well it's still pretty damn impressive.

I remember when Travis Fimmel was on CK billboard in London in CK's underwear, causing traffic jams. People were making a stop to stare at the billboard. Wish there was more sexy men-celebrities wearing some sort of thongs on billboards I wonder how many people did something like Colin, but it was never remembered.

I think Mr Farrell looks very nice modelling the red thong on Irish telly. However, the silhouette of the thong strikes me as belonging to a very specific time period. I think this silhouette is mid-80s, so it's surprising to see it still popular in the mid-90s. The pouch seems very full compared to modern thongs and the cut in the leg rather high. Don't get me wrong - I like the shape. However, I think current thongs sit lower on the waist and are more "fitted" in the crotch, if that is the right word.

It was the 90s and the style and presenters attitudes are to be expected. For the most part, things have changed but there's still a lot of cringe-worthy attitudes.

Here's a video from only five years ago where the supposedly straight guys are asked to wear a jockstrap for the day. The only sort of good thing is that at the end, there seems to be a few converts.
