You're right but I do have a pretty decent system for weeding out bots and trolls. Registration emails are checked against a Spam prevention service but the most effective one is simply my "What do you love about underwear?" question.

So far, since April 2nd when all the new members started appearing, there are 92 new members. The increased new signups are still happening, just not as many as the first week.

People should really use their judgement and not post 10+ images of the same suit or pics with only slight variations in angles. It's inconsiderate and frustrating.

I suggest, that if somebody wants to do that, leave 'em thumbnail sized rather than inserting the full image. We can always click on the thumbnails when we want to see 'em big. Which ... Mmm ... we frequently do, but it's just a matter of doing a lot of scrolling when we don't.

Not a super big problem in the grand scheme of things, but just sayin' ... it all goes towards making the site a more pleasant place to visit.

My 2 cents, YMMV, etc etc etc.

I think the main issue here is the New Media gallery, which is limited to 4 pages. The new media captures whatever is freshly uploaded to albums site-wide. So if somebody over-posts, it’ll literally push other users’ content out of the new media gallery.

All it would take to fix things is users limiting the number of things they upload at one time. Space the uploads out. Especially if it’s multiple shots of the same thing (just picking a couple instead of posting a whole photo session would help, too).

Most folks don’t run into it, but there is a user data limit too. So eventually the problem may fix itself.

Ha! Apparently not ...

I'm talking primarily about the dedicated forums, where an overdone and repetitive post will leave you scrolling thru pic after pic after pic to get to the next post. However, you do have a point about the New Media gallery.

Both situations lead to the previous poster's post being pushed to the next page, so really it's just two different versions of the same issue.

However, I wouldn't want to dissuade anybody from posting their pics either - the vast majority of them are pretty enjoyable, but sometimes ... just sometimes, I wish people would think a little more like a Photo Editor before posting their stuff.

Imagine opening the latest copy of your favorite magazine and finding it filled with 10 pages of the same picture! LoL! It's a little like that. Just a little.
