I think beachkini/boystrings is too expensive. I have 3 (1 resold) and not convinced. Similar constructions with little rings can be found by tangaland24at lower prices. These two firms have their residences in the same region, only a few km's apart. Better quality by wonneberger wojoer.de in Mühlau, east germany. And their “beachware“ is chlorine/saltwater proofed.

As a thong veteran (300+ thongs, 25 years of thonging), I will vouch that while Beachkini is expensive, they make the best Y back g-strings on the market. Others make T backs which aren't very flattering, imo. Y backs dip deep into the butt crack and accentuate the glutes.

The only other brands that do a nice V or Y back are iSwim, Jovana and the JS bulge thong. It also depends on how much junk you have in the trunk of course
