In principle it is true; however it is a matter of size combination between the base ring and the size of the root ballsac/penis with the individual anatomy. If you get hard and push out cock and balls and the balls do not slip off, the erection will be painful and your cock will slightly shrink and altough it does not become flaccid it remains hal erected depending from the size of the cock tube. In my case I choose a short tube where my flaccid cock has to be squeezed in. No way to become sufficiently erected to push the balls out of the base ring. Therefore the erection is largely internal and involves the root and the intraabdominal part of the penis. The prostate is strongly stimulated and I can ejaculate without directly touching the most sensitive parts of the cock (glans, ridge and frenum (that however are partially stimulated by the cage. I have the same problem, the way out is an open base ring so that you can put it behind the balls easily and rapidly and then close the ring with the top part. This design is basically that of the CBX cages. There are metal models with the open ring. You will start to get hard, wait and then insert your lubed cock in the tube which has to be the same length of your flaccid cock or a little shorter.

Yes!! You will probably go through a number of cages before finding one that “works.” Don’t be afraid to gamble on cheap ones. Eventually, you may want to spend big money on a custom one, or maybe not.
