It doesn't. I don't really see the point in having a Telegram group when this site has forums, galleries, profiles, etc.. Eventually I plan to add a live chat (with video) feature but that's a long way out as I'm too busy building a new website from scratch for our online store Jockstrap Central.

I've been thinking that Jockstrap Central would be enhanced if the general public perusing the online store "knew" you like we feel we do here...something like a photo and curator's intro, then maybe a "John says..." blurb for various brands, styles, etc. Because of this site and Your Jockstrap site, I know your writing style and perspective so it draws me in and (sometimes) influences my purchases. You write the text on JSC, make that more obvious and let people connect the retail experience to you as a guru, purveyor, etc... You could be the Vidal Sasoon of jockstraps!

It's a great idea and something I may implement on the new Jockstrap Central website I'm working on (forever, it seems). I do have to mention, however, that many customers never bother to read my descriptions, then just buy products based on the photos.

I also want to mention that it's not just me. My partner/husband Adrian is equally a part of it. He may not write the descriptions but we are equals when it comes to running the site, choosing products and brands and we both look at every product we sell and discuss what we're going to write in regards to sizing, fabrics, style, fit, etc...

I'm just the one that does the writing (and the one who gets the blame for all my spelling and grammatical errors, lol!) Most of those errors are not because I don't know what's right or wrong but simply because I have so much on my plate and end up working too fast and not spending the time to proof read my work. But luckily, we have a number of school teachers as customers who love to email me and correct my errors! I'm surprised they don't grade my work, lol!

One day I will buy and install a chat addon for the software that runs this site but it's expensive and will require a huge learning curve. I'll be installing it first over at my other website Your Jockstraps and if it works well, I'll add it to USG as well. But it will cost me around $500 USD for each install - which will have to come out of my own pocket as this site is not generating any money. At least the members at Your Jockstraps make regular purchases at my store Jockstrap Central so that will help cover the costs.

It's probably not what you were referring to, but there was never a chat feature at USG in it's 20+ years.

No I was meaning other sites going back along time ago with the chats...not much like it about now days

I think Telegram and Discord and the like have filled that void, at least for the youngins!

Don't fret! I'm older than you, but have been a geek all my life and because of the business I have to know these things. I have used both but like the more personal nature of a site like this.
