Seriously, I only "freeball" in shorts that are designed to be worn with nothing underneath, which is to say things like bike shorts, or some sports shorts that have their own liner, so it's like having underpants built in. The reason is simple; not only am I less likely to get arrested, but I also find it more confortable with my balls held in place by some kind of pouch.

The only exception might be in very hot weather, when I might wear slightly loose shorts inside the house, with no underwear, for maximum ventilation. Frankly, the only reason I wear anything at all on those days is because I never know when one of the other dwellers in the apartment complex is likely to be catching a glimpse through the window.

Totally agree. Used to ride the bike paths at Los Angeles beachs a lot, never bothered with anything under my bike shorts. I'd stop to chat with people along the way, never had any problems. Sometimes a wink and a sly smile, but nobody ever cried "dude, put some pants on!" LoL!
