You are. This is a forum and when we discover a member from NE we welcome them and that is all. This started as a way for me to track and encourage locals to connect. Although we haven’t gathered as a group, several members message each other and stay in touch. Meeting in person has been challenging, but I remain hopeful that a couple of us will enjoy a beach day or several this year. Also if you would like to schedule something in your area and invite others? This would be a great place to share that invite. You are very near my favorite NE thong beach, Sherwood Island State Park. Let’s plan a beach day and hope a couple of S. CT members decide to join.

Hey, I was in Boston last summer...went to Revere... ok place, closer to where i was staying.... i did talk to a few hot guys in bikinis. Is that the gay beach in Boston? Water wasn't so great and COLD, but the few guys made it pleasant.

I have heard Revere mentioned a couple of times now. I have not visited it in a while or with any regularity, and it sounds like I need to change that. My go to beach in Boston is M-Street in Southie. Not a gay beach, but few kids and lots of young people. I always felt welcome there and although the attire trended to Speedo’s not thongs, I never heard a negative comment or felt self conscious. I normally operate under the assumption that all beaches are thong beaches until I meet resistance. None the less some places make one feel better than others.

Welcome @randythongerinME Glad to see you here. I visited Pinepoint last summer based on your recommendation. I was the only thong wearer visiting at that time but it was a lovely beach and I enjoyed myself. It would have been nicer to enjoy it with a friend or several. Below is a picture from that visit.

I just updated our membership spreadsheet. We are 66 members and our state breakdown is, 16 CT, 27 MA, 6 NH, 8 RI, 5 VT. There seem to be a lot in and around Southern CT. Would anyone be interested in joining me for a thong party at Sherwood Island State Park? The MA group should plan on an M-St meetup. Last year my first swim was on May 3rd, and next week they are forecasting 63 degrees Friday. Beach weather is not far off. I don’t know if you can tell but I am wicked excited!
