Hey all,

Just joined! I've just turned 50 (literally yesterday) and over the past 6 months I've lost 23kg of weight and feeling pretty good about myself.

To this end, I bought myself a couple of thongs / cheeky briefs, mainly because I was kinda bored of tight boxers and fancied something a bit exciting! And I'm feeling kinda sexy! My girlfriend however, absolutely hates them, the issue is that I really enjoy wearing them, I feel kinda sexy in them, they're comfy and hold my bits really well...

Any advice on how to get a girlfriend to like them?

Also, any advice on where to get a more cheeky brief rather than a thong, and ideally designed to cup your balls and let your penis sit in the brief are rather than stuffed into the pouch, which tend to be somewhat restrictive!

I think your right about the self esteem thing, wearing something that makes you feel sexy as well as all the weight loss has given me one heck of a boost. I do also wonder if it's that my underwear is now smaller than hers, she used to wear really sexy little thongs and earrings, now she's much more into big comfy knickers (which incidentally I don't complain at despite I'd much rather she wore little knix!)

I tried briefs, they looked great from the front, but I found them too big at the back, you either pulled them half way up your back and made your butt look good, or wear them on your waist and they're all baggy on the arse. I bought some more Brazilian style backed undies but they were so soft and light they had no support, they look good for about 5 minutes (when I took the photos!) But they quickly kinda sag and lose shape.

The thong I've got (the pics that don't preview for some reason) really hold everything in place well, also excellent under cycle shorts I've found! So my ideal would be a cheeky but not full thong at the back, with a pouch to hold the balls and then just room at the front for my cock! ....And not fluorescent pink! Seriously!!!

Also, at 49 with a stomach like that you're doing very well! I've just lost the majority of my gut so started on some basic exercises and weights to try and firm up my tum and build a bit on my arms and chest.

To start, those look great on you. I'm in a similar situation as you. My wife is rather conservative and not used to guys in thongs. I think she thinks skimpy underwear is for women, not men.
