Prefer the old way of doing things...if it's not broke don't try to fix it

...but it was broke. As mentioned in another News and Announcements post, the old software was going to stop working the next time the server it's on was updated. The server has to be updated regularly for security reasons.

The old site was on borrowed time.

Also, the old software couldn't handle phone and tablet uploads as the files were too big and also didn't know how to handle each phone and their method of dealing with rotation.

Also as mentioned before, the old website was daunting and confusing when guys first encountered it. Once you get used to this new site, this will become as familiar as the old one.

I'm afraid there's no going back. I've done my best to provide a safe (and totally free) haven for all us underwear enthusiasts for the past 17+ years. My hope is that most members will embrace the new site or at least give it a chance. I expect we may lose some members but because of the new modern software, I expect we may just get a lot of new members.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents, Ive been a member of the old USG fourms, and It was somewhat confusing, I didn’t visit often. I didn’t like the fact it was not mobile / tablet friendly. This new site is great, yes there is some learning curve but I have found its pretty easy to get used too. I feel like I might be a regular here now.

I do also like the new site. Thanks for the changes and upgrades. The gallery/album thing was a learning curve for me, but I like the new style. I also like the larger images - much better there!

I’m totally loving the new site too. If you give yourself 20 mins and navigate around the site you’ll appreciate the new features it has.

To be honest, I'm still figuring things out - like I just realized that when you're writing a post or comment the system is auto-saving a draft so if you accidently click to another page and come back, your draft is saved for you to continue. Can't tell you how many times I wrote a big long novel of a post, never submitted it, then click away and when I tried to back up, it was gone.

Yea I noticed that feature too! It’s great.
