I myself shave most of the time, a couple yrs ago I bought the Emjoi for men, used it a few times that thing is like a torture device. I broke it out the other day and used it it does leave you ultra smooth but no way in hell are you getting it near your cock or balls.. on my legs and arms its not bad a couple beers kills the pain. interested in what others have to say on this topic what you prefer to stay smooth..

I didn't really worry about having the laser on my balls since we have already had the kids we wanted and it was after we wanted anymore kids. As for getting hard it actually helps with the procedure having the skin stretched during the procedures

i use a Panasonic ES2207 wet/dry shaver i got from Amazon for under $20 (not sure what they are now). it works VERY well if you're not in a hurry. It is a favorite of girls and women that want a fully shaved/bald pussy. if it works for theirs, it's good enough for mine
