Removing Liner

Just received a new square cut swimsuit. It has a brief style liner. I don’t like the vpl. Any tips or tricks to cutting out a liner? Scissors or razor blade? Looking for suggestions. Thank you.

I have removed dozens of liners...alsways with scissors, but use it carefully, the best is to start with a scissor and then tear the liner out - good luck!

Better to buy unlined to begin with, but when push comes to shove, I use a pair of barber scissors. They give you a lot more control and accuracy than a standard pair of "office scissors", which is helpful when you're cutting close to a seam. Professional ones are expensive, but you can get something that'll do the job without spending more than $20.

And what the hell, you can use it to trim your pubes too! LoL!

I use scissors but I’ve learned to be very careful, I’ve accidentally nicked some pretty expensive short shorts before.

I like to remove the liner and wear a jockstrap underneath instead

I always use a nice sharp scissors ! I hate the linings!

Some of my swimwear and shorts after having removed liners...I think, the extra work make sense...
the second pic however is a liner, cut out from the short in pic 3, recycling makes sense as well...

I've used a seam ripper before with good results. It does take time and you have to be aware of what seam you are removing.

I've cut the liner out of a few Male Power swim briefs with a pair of sharp fabric scissors to wear them as everyday underwear as well as a pair of trunks made of heavier fabric just because the liner made it too bulky and uncomfortable.

I have carefully used scissors to remove many liners from shorts and suits. You just need to be careful and pay close attention to what is in the scissors to be cut before you cut. It is easy to get a fold of fabric in the tip of the scissors and end up with a hole in the suit.
